Hallelujah!

The deed is done...the trigger has been pulled and I am completely and totally relieved!

I booked the plane ticket for my South East Asia trip and now I can sit back and relax, well, relax until I start "really" getting into the destination research!

To my amazement I actually got a ticket price I was willing to pay which allows me to accrue all my flying miles, and leaves from Hilton Head Island! 

Yes, I did have to make a few adjustments, like departing Hilton Head at 6:30 in the morning and departing Bangkok for the return home at the ungodly hour of 5:40am, but on the upside, I arrive back home on a Thursday night and will have 3 days to "re-enter" reality before going back to work.  And, I won't have to drive 5 hours to and from Atlanta and stay in a hotel (for both departure and arrival days!) as I was seriously considering that option! 

The purchase of this ticket must have been really weighing heavy on my mind, because today I felt like a huge weight has been lifted.  It's a significant amount of money, in fact, it's the most money I've ever paid for a plane ticket in my life...I'm hoping this will be a trip of a lifetime!
