Ughhh...this South East Asia trip is already making me crazy! I thought I had a great option...drive to Atlanta fly Korean air and return to Atlanta from Bangkok all for $1360. Yes, there would be hotel nights in Atlanta and two 5 hour drives to and from Atlanta, but that's the price I was willing to pay for what I think is a "Bargain!" Then I start to read the fine print on the Korean Air website and find out that the fare class this discounted fare is in, does not qualify for Delta Sky Miles...YIKES! I don't want to fly 20,000 and not get credit for it!
Now I'm in the process of scouring airline websites...Delta, Korean Air, even Vietnam Airlines, which is also part of the Sky Team network. My mind is in a whirl trying to get the flight times I want at the price I'm willing to pay. It's enough to drive me insane!
