The final arrangements for my weekend trip to New York City next week are done. I made all the restaurant reservations the other day and I can't wait to try Maialino for dinner the night we arrive!
I made brunch reservations at L'Ecole, this is the restaurant run by the French Culinary Institute in the Soho neighborhood. We passed by this restaurant on our trip to NYC last year and everyone coming out of the place was saying how great the brunch was, so it was an easy decision to make when trying to figure out where to have brunch.
In the grand scheme of my trip planning, this was a pretty easy trip to pull together. Basically it will be a theater and foodie weekend with a visit to the Frick Collection thrown in for good measure. Although we have 4 shows in 3 days we do some "un-scheduled" time, so maybe a quick little shopping excursion can happen too!
Let's hope the good weather NYC is having this week continues into next week!
