As the calendar turned to 2011 my Delta SkyMiles account jumped from Silver to Gold Elite status...WooHoo...it's all about the miles baby! :-)
Now the pressure is on to maintain Gold. One of these days I may "cash-in" my miles for a free ticket, but the thought of not accruing miles on a flight is not palatable to me, I'll pay up for my airfare and keep my fingers crossed I'll get upgraded to Business Class. Now that I'm "Gold" the chances of that happening are getting better!
I'll soon find out if my "golden status" perks are working with my upcoming trip to Seattle!
