Last week when I saw airfare to Seattle for about $300 in January I couldn't pass it up. Yes, I will be making a return winter visit to the Emerald city. Of course the main reason for the trip is to make the pilgrimage to the Europe Through the Back Door for the tour alumni reunion, but the thought of having a pizza from Serious Pie is also a big factor! Now that the airfare is purchased, the hunt for a reasonable hotel rate will start!
Today I noticed Delta was having a fall airfare sale, my mistake was checking this out...of course there was a reasonable airfare to New York City for Labor Day weekend, and I couldn't pass it up. So now hotel hunting for NYC will need to take top priority, right there with the Bologna/Rome research and the scouring for South East Asia airfare...I know, I'm nuts...so many trips in the next 8 months...I think I may be breaking some kind of record here!
And while I'm at all this planning I found a great wine maker's cooking class sponsored by the Santa Fe Cooking School at a vineyard 20 minutes north of Santa Fe. How could I pass on an outdoor cooking demonstration with fresh local ingredients and local New Mexican wines at a vineyard...it sounded like the perfect way to spend a morning...so, yup, I booked that too!
