As if I didn't have enough fun travels to plan for the remainder of 2010, an opportunity to travel to South East Asia in early 2011 presented itself to me a couple weeks ago. Of course I couldn't pass it up!
My friend Rosemary put a trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand together for her Maiden Voyagers group and I received the email flyer about this trip a few weeks ago. Vietnam has been on my radar for a while and the chance to include Cambodia (Angor Wat temples) and Thailand is just icing on the cake.
CL had expressed an interest in going to Vietnam and when I talked with her about the Maiden Voyagers trip she said she would be up for that trip. Then I hear from friends Beth and Vivian and they say they are also interested in going. So it looks like this trip will be brimming with people I know, and they are all seasoned travellers...this is going to be a great trip.
I'm having a tough time holding off on starting research for this trip. I've got to finish the trip report from San Sebastian and Paris, then start researching Bologna for the November trip...Oy! My free time will be full of all kinds of digging around for good travel advice!
