I've been home a total of 4 days and already going through travel withdrawal. Good thing I have 2 more trips this year!
As much as I LOVE to travel I have to admit that there is something very comforting about sleeping in one's own bed, even if the beds I slept in while traveling were comfortable...just pulling back the crisp, clean, cool sheets of my own bed late Sunday night was the perfect ahhhhh moment.
A down-side to returning from this last European trip is that I not only came home with some great mementos of my travels, but I also came home with a pretty nasty cold. Thankfully I'm not suffering from a sore throat or achy body, just alot of sneezing and plenty of coughing. I was looked at by my co-workers on my first day back at work like I had the bubonic plague...I sounded alot worse than I felt, but I'm still not completely up to speed. Been trying to get more sleep but it's tough when I know I have 700+ photos from the trip to label and edit...but they will just have to wait! Plus this pesky thing called work always seems to get in the way of my life!
Stay tuned for a trip report of San Sebastian, Spain (LOVED it!) and Paris, France...what's not to love about Paris! :-)

Hey Marcy, have been checking in and still waiting anxiously for your Spain/France report :) When will you be in Bologna? My sis, mom and I will be there Nov 8-13. A GTG perhaps>
Hi Jeanne...
I'm working on the Spain/France report. Will post the whole thing on my blog when it's complete. I did start posting installments of the report on the Fodors Europe Board, only up to day 3 so far!
I'll be arriving in Bologna the evening of Nov. 12th.
