Just yesterday at lunch I mentioned that maybe during my trip to Seattle I could ask the staff at Europe Through the Back Door if they had the hotels for San Sebastian booked for the group tour in May. Fast forward a few hours and as I log onto my computer and check my email there, sitting in my inbox was and email from Europe Through the Back Door.
Are the tour divas mind readers too? I clicked on "open" and there before my eyes was the hotel information for our week in San Sebastian...just what I was looking for.
My fingers immediately got to typing and I dashed off an email to the hotel to check availability for 2 nights before the trip starts. Now, I haven't done a ton of San Sebastian research yet, but I do know it's a beach town and figured at this time of year it might take up to week to get an email response.
I got another nice surprise when I opened my email this morning to find a response from the hotel with the availability I was looking for...Yay! Hotel booked...now the research will begin!
I've already checked out reviews on Trip Advisor and they are, for the most part, very positive. The hotel of choice is Hotel Parma. Here's there website:
