Just when the tickets for the shows I wanted to see during my March NYC were purchased the announcement comes out that Finian's Rainbow will be closing on January 17th...bummer.
I'm sure it won't be a problem finding a replacement show...there are several new ones opening in the upcoming months. Instead of immediately booking another show, we'll wait to see what the availability will be for some of the new ones and then decide which one to see. I've heard Megan Mullaly of Will & Grace fame will be starring in an upcoming Broadway show (can't remember the show name) and that might be a good one to see...stay tuned for a Broadway update!

saw that you just became friends with our last tour guide Stephen McPhilemy from Derry. We have done two RS tours-one the best of Europe for three weeks and then two weeks in Ireland. Lucky you going to San Sebastian and then off to Paris for a week. Do you know where you will be staying in Paris; I did Paris with four women after I had done the RS tour. We stayed in the Rue CLer area-used a local guide for a couple of days-did a cooking class, etc. It was a great trip!

Yes, I had Stephen as my RS Ireland tour guide back in 2005. That was my first ETBD tour and since then I have been on 5 tours. San Sebastian will be number 6 for me! :)
We (I'm traveling with my mom) will be renting a Paris Perfect Apartment for the 8 nights we will be in Paris. It's located in the the Left Bank's 7th arrondissement, which I believe is in the Rue Cler area.
If you scroll back through my blog you will see trip reports of all my travels including my RS trips, except Ireland, I started blogging after that trip so didn't post a report.
