That's right...Seattle in January. BUT there is a perfectly good reason for this...a full day of Rick Steves' travel seminars.
Besides the travel seminars I have been wanting to see Seattle for the last 5 years, so this is the perfect reason to plan a trip there, well, that and a VERY reasonable airfare, considering I'm flying completely across the country...YAY...more frequent flyer miles!
So, I've signed up for the travel seminars, booked the flights, booked a room at the Crowne Plaza (thanks to a friends & family rate), reserved a rental car to get to the seminars in Edmonds, WA and I even booked a Savor Seattle Pike Place Market Tour for the Sunday morning I will be there. Wow...looks like all I have left to do is Seattle restaurant research.
Oh, and I probably should buy a REALLY warm coat...this week temps in Seattle have been in the 30's! YIKES...will this southern transplant survive in the Pacific Northwest for 5 days in January?
