Bummer! :)
We arrived back home last Thursday night, after a brief 24 hour "rest" in NYC and yesterday it was back to the office and the old grind. Surprisingly I didn't have a mountain of mail to wade through or thousands of emails. Only 142 emails and those were mostly junk.
So now it's time to get back into the swing of things, get my trip photos uploaded to the Kodak website, transcribe my journal into a trip report for Fodors and this blog and "re-adjust" to real life.
Fortunately I haven't been badly effected by jet-lag this time around. Maybe because we got into NYC on Wednesday at a very civilized 1:45pm, had dinner and were asleep before 10pm. Or maybe it was because the (direct) flight from NYC to Savannah was also at a very civilized 2pm and we were able to get back into a regular sleep pattern that thwarted the jet-lag, or maybe it was the 3 days I had at home before going back to work that helped.
Whatever it was, I'm glad I'm not lumbering around like a zombie! Now the fun part of sorting all 1600+ pictures begins! And I get to re-live the trip via those pictures!
Stay tuned for a trip report and pictures and updates on my November NYC trip and December Rome trip...just call me Travel Girl!
