Where in the world am I??? These trees are gigantic!
Here are some hints:
- It's a historic site
- It's not far from where I live
- It's on a waterway
Give up?
I'm at Wormsloe Historic Site in Savannah, Georgia.
In 1739 Noble Jones, a physician, carpenter and surveyor (he was a multi-faceted man!) began building a tabby house on a frequently used water route that ran past his property.
Today this is a historic site with a beautiful tree-lined entry road and tabby ruins of the original home and the views of the marsh are amazing.
This is part of the Georgia State Parks network.
