I've been back from Italy for 3 weeks. I've uploaded my pictures, labeled them and posted them to the Kodak Gallery website. I'm finished with the Christmas shopping I needed to do and I've even finished coordinating my January trip to Seattle.
So why don't I have motivation to begin my Bologna and Rome trip report? Is it just be the thought of getting started that is bogging me down? Will it be a situation where once I get going, I'll "take the ball and run with it"? I know once I get started I'll enjoy writing and re-living the trip, but getting started on a 17 day trip report is not making my heart race at the moment. And, I'm inclined to think if I wait much longer to start writing I'll just keep putting it off.
Do I create a self-imposed deadline to begin writing this weekend? I'm not sure what the answer is, maybe writing this short blog entry about how I dread getting started will jump-start my creative juices and propel me to spend time getting the report going.
