Over the last several weeks I kept a keen eye on the Vatican website waiting for the October dates, I was looking at for the Vatican Garden Tour, to become available. Patience pays off. A couple days ago the Monday I wanted to book the tour opened up!
One of the very enticing components of the tour, aside from being able to see the beautiful gardens is that entry into the Vatican Museums is also included! So, for the same price as a Vatican Museum tour, we get the garden tour and then entry into the museums. We won't have a guide for the museum, but having been there a couple years ago, that's not such a big deal. The real draw is getting to see the Sistine Chapel again...it truly is an incredible work of art!
