I know, I am just back from Turkey a week now and haven't even started writing my trip report to post here, but I feel the need to begin my Rome Christmas trip countdown now since it is a mere 65 days until I will be jetting off to the Eternal City!
I am very happy to say that just days before leaving for Turkey last month I got the email from the SCAVI office saying I have been booked for the Dec. 28th 9:15am SCAVI tour and I needed to send in payment right away. So I dashed off an email with the payment information and received my email confirmation a few days later and the charge was made to my credit card. So I am all set regarding the SCAVI tour. Now the fun will be making sure I have the correct directions to the SCAVI office at The Vatican so I don't miss the tour starting time! :)
I have spent the last several evenings sorting through my pictures from Turkey and finally at 11:30pm last night I finished uploading all 871 pictures to the Kodak Gallery website and this morning sent emails with the album link to friends and family. Once I get the Turkey trip report going on my blog I will include some pictures and a link to the whole photo album. But for now you will just have to deal with the anticipation! :)
