Even as I sit here and type this blog entry I can feel my pulse quicken with anticipation for "D-Day", which is on Saturday.
I've got everything under control at work and it's a great feeling. I will be able to walk out the office door at 4:30pm and not look back for 4 weeks!
I have just a few things to confirm, like the airport shuttle pick up for Saturday and call the bank to let them know I will be using my visa card in foreign countries. I did this for most of my cards earlier this week, but one card will only place the security notice on the card 24 to 48 hours before my departure...go figure!
Tropical Storm Ernesto will be swinging through here this afternoon sometime. But it looks like we will only get some rain and wind. It's been very grey and overcast all morning. The schools even closed today because of the impending storm, so the commute to work was fast! I made it to the office in 25 minutes! Since I got to work early maybe that's why I have all my ducks in a row now. I love the feeling of having everything tied up and taken care of!
Well tomorrow will be my last blog entry before my trip begins!
